Description:This workshop will cover a wide array of drone and remote sensing related topics. Attendees will receive an overview of available drone technology, learn what type of data each family of drones collects, learn how to select drones and associated software, be exposed to the management and analysis of remotely sensed data, and learn what is required in designing/implementing a remote vehicle study. The first few hours will be held in the classroom and include hands on activities and demonstrations of software. The second portion of the workshop will be conducted outside and include live flight demonstrations.
