Aquatic Education/Trout-in-the-Classroom Grants

The Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society has a long history of promoting aquatic education efforts. In 2013, the Chapter formally established an Aquatic Education/Trout-in-the-Classroom Grant to assist Idaho K-12 teachers with aquatic education efforts. This may include the Trout-in-the-Classroom program, field trips to facilitate learning, or any other aquatic education efforts. The number of grants awarded annually is dependent on available funding and need. Please visit our Public Education Committee website for examples of proposals that have been supported.

Grant Amount: $50-$1,250
Application Deadline: applications are accepted anytime during the year and are reviewed quarterly
